When I went searching for my last futon, I had trouble getting all the facts I felt like I needed to make a smart buying decision. So I was inspired to start this blog to help myself and others.

There’s a lot of information online to help you choose a futon mattress or cover or frame, but most of it is from people trying to sell you stuff. Their information might be spot-on. I’m not saying that it isn’t but I
wanted to have all the info in one place and that’s what I hope this blog can be — a place to come for all the futon information you need.

Needless to say, I’ve been sleeping on futon mattresses for 20 years and using them as a sofa alternative for about 15. I don’t think there’s a better value out there. But I want all of us to get our money’s worth.
