Is It Too Early for Spring Cleaning?
We’re taking a few well-deserved days off for the New Year’s holiday. I’ll tell you, working in retail at Christmas is getting harder and harder! For one thing, the house goes to pot. We’re dragging ourselves to work in the morning and dragging ourselves home at night and the house, it looks like it!
There’s a lot of little things to do, of course. Laundry and such. But maybe it’s my hubby’s Swedish heritage — he’s ready to Spring Clean! I’m like, it’s not even January yet. But I do see his point and the idea of starting 2010 off with a sparkling clean house is pretty wonderful.
One of the things that worried me about this endeavor is cleaning wool rugs. We have two wool area rugs and until Blake did some research, I was hesitant to even try anything. I’ll let you know what happens! No really, I have faith in him and his research (plus I’m the one who ruined a wool rug once!)
So you could say that it is too early to Spring Clean but it’s not too early to CLEAN!
I’ll let Blake tackle the rugs (and maybe the windows, he owes me) and I’m going to be scrubbing the bathroom tile. Oddly enough, I’m looking forward to it.
